On Halloween night, comic book artist Troy Haynes is captured by his imaginary heroine Shield and brought into another dimension to learn how Halloween began. Brighit, his host, caught between two worlds, tells the story of the sacred passageway and her struggles to close what she herself opened, thus starting the Halloween myth.
