New Beginnings.

Anne quickly drove back to Jenna’s house. Tears were falling from her eyes, messing up the make-up that the woman from the four seasons had taken so long to put on her. She didn't care. She wiped underneath her eyes, seeing mascara come running off. She quickly reached into her purse that was on her lap, and as she made all kinds of turns, to make sure in case he was following her, he’d lose her. She dialed Jenna’s number.
“Hey girl, can I come spend the night, well, maybe a few nights…” She heard on the other end of the line exactly what she knew she’d hear. Jenna told her that she was always more than welcome at her home.

“What happened? How could he possibly have gotten mad at you? You've only been gone away from me for thirty minutes!” Jenna exclaimed. Anne gave her a brief rundown of what had happened at the restaurant. When she was finished, Jenna was outraged.

“I can’t believe he did that to you! Well, don’t you worry. Just get over here as soon as you can. I’ll have my two men standing out back by the garage so he doesn't bother you. Pull right into the garage.” Anne thanked her and they hung up, and head straight to Jenna’s house.

When she arrived, just as Jenna had said, there were two men standing outside of the garage waiting for her. As soon as she pulled up, she opened the door with the garage door opener inside of the car, and the men came in as the door closed behind her. She got out of the car, and the men escorted her into the house, without a word being exchanged. As soon as Anne entered the house, Jenna came running to her.
