Tymeka Block Lucky known by many as Pebbles was born in Paterson N.J. She was adopted at birth. She always had a love for writing poems and stories. She attended Brookdale Community in 2007 after relocating to Baltimore M.D. She attended Anne Arundel Community College in 2008 and 2009 where she made the high honors and received an Editors Choice Award for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry. In 2009 Tymeka attended Kaplan University and made the Deans List for outstanding grade going average of 3.40 to 3.95 during the August term of 2010 at Kaplan. In late May of 2012, she got sick and passed away on June 29 two days after her 37th birthday. Tymeka loved to write about her life and life through Poetry. We will never receive all she had to offer us through her writings. But I thank God for what she gave us before leaving.
