In this struggle the Sioux & Cheyenne tried to stop the invasion of white settlers into their hunting grounds. These wars produced the famous Indian Chiefs Gall, Crazy Horse, and Sitting Bull. They also led to the most famous battle of U. S. Indian Wars.;The Battle of the Little Big Horn in which Custer & his command were wiped out.
