On September 11, 1973, Chilean President Salvatore Allende was the target of a military coup resulting in his death. It was reported as a suicide. Twenty-six years later the previous Station Chief in Santiago is now a high-ranking official with the CIA and the secret operation he engineered resulting in Allendes death, is in danger of being revealed.
