This is part of a series of books in which particular verses are picked from books of the bible, and the issues of Jesus are explored, in the light of the mind of God for us.
In this book, we explore five topics, from different verses in the book of Jeremiah. They are: Restoration of health; The Lord our righteousness; The fire and hammer ministries of Jesus; God’s great anger; and How Christ is the answer to all fears.

Restoration of health
“The above are the functions of the oil on Jesus Christ. Because He does all these things today (the oil is still fresh) he is ready to do them for you, to make them your continuous reality; but only through the gate of faith in him.”
The Lord our righteousness
“The Lord Jesus is our righteousness: he has pleased God on our behalf. The Lord Jesus is our righteousness: we are born again by the seed of Christ, the righteous seed. He is the Lord our righteousness because the life of righteousness that we live, we live by his grace (Galatians 2:20-21). We cannot function in righteousness without being plugged into his grace, so that in everything thing, Christ would be glorified in our lives (2Thessalonians 1:12).”
The fire and hammer ministries of Jesus
“When we embrace the word of God- Jesus, we get to experience the word of God’s grace, the love of God and we are able to be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19), and we have fellowship, intimacy with the Spirit of God which was not imaginable before Jesus came around to hammer out the way to that reality for us. There is a new and living way which is through his torn flesh (Hebrews 10:20).”
God’s great anger
“To not be aware of the wrath of God is the grand delusion of our time. If one knows it you would run to the place of escape in Jesus. Because like the flood came down in an expression of the drowning anger of God, it is coming again in the fiery anger of God (2Peter 3:3-18), that would be the ultimate judgment because one has refused the ultimate mercy in Christ Jesus.”
How Christ is the answer to all fears
“Christ is the answer to all our fears. He was made poor so that we can be made rich (end of fear of lack). He bore our sin, so that the punishment for it which is death might come to him (end of fear of death). He bore shame on the cross so that we can be bold, and go forth in power, bearing his power.”
