This is part of a series of books in which particular verses are picked from books of the bible, and the issues of Spiritual Identity are explored, in the light of the mind of God for us.
In this book, we explore four topics, from different verses in the book of Leviticus. They are: Serving God as priest; Ordination; Cleansing; and Jubilee.
Excerpts:
Serving God as priest
“Jesus said that He (Holy Spirit) would take of what is his and manifest it to us (John 16:14). He makes possible our dynamic relationship with God, facilitating an ongoing flow of Christ to us, causing us to function with the mind of Christ (1Corinthians 2:16) to that we might serve God as Christ our High Priest does.”
Ordination
“Also when Jeremiah was ordained, God spoke to him that he has put his word in his mouth (Jeremiah 1:1-5), and he was going to be sent to the high and mighty in the land and through his prophecy nations will crash down, while others will come up, his quiet life was all over and he would be at the centre of events from then on.”
Cleansing
“If there is any change we need, it is to be changed into the image of the son of God. That is our ultimate need. He is the righteous one (1John 2:1). After many years of following Jesus, Paul said still said his ambition is to know him and the power of his resurrection, being made conformable to his death (Philippians 3:10).”
Jubilee
“The number one relationship that was disrupted with the fall of man was man’s relationship with God. In Christ now by one spirit we have access to the father (Ephesians 2:18).”
