Volunteering in her metro area provided Melisa Mel many opportunities to meet interesting people with stories to tell. She found that the characters leaned on others for assistance and safety while trying to regain some sort of balance in their lives. Melisa Mel dedicates this book to those who strive to make every day just a bit safer and those who are struggling in their transition from the victim stage to survivor mode. Melisa Mel understands that transition well...
