Walking with Spirit is about Shawn's personal journey over the past sixteen years. Shawn was raised in a religious family, where those values became deeply ingrained in him, but spirituality, as taught by the church, wasn't satisfying or persuasive enough for him. The book describes Shawn's path and challenges in coming to a better understand of spirituality than what was presented by his church, and the transformations he has been going through along the way.

As well, Shawn recounts how he was instructed by Christ in how to open to the dimension of the spirit in all things- animals, plants, and how any of us can communicate with these dimensions.
