War Life Death Gloom The Post Apocalypse, can be called a book of poetry because it consist of poems, but it is actually a single epic story told over twenty poems. The story is broken up into three distinct periods, the early, middle and late period.
The Poems in the early period tell the story pre apocalypse, where wars where still being fought on large scales, and man still ruled the earth and actively exercised his right to wage war across it, bringing about his own doom.

The poems in the middle period take us away from the world wars, and into the intimate post apocalypse, into the new darker world inherited by the children. Where the enemies are not states or countries, those enemies are long lost and forgotten, in this new world the enemies are monsters, cannibals and the remnants of men.

And Finally, the late period, brings an end to the epic poem, by taking us further into the future, and to places where the story told in, War Life Death Gloom The Post Apocalypse, concludes.
