This collection of poetry and short stories is all about never leaving anything on the shelf. As a child, I was always curious, and when I learned of my adoption at the age of eight, it changed me. I internally knew I was different but have always been thankful for my mothers love. I believe that it was one of the things that kept me alive when I was lucky enough to be her son. I always enjoyed writing my feelings. I always thought it was the expression of emotion that proves the passion we hold. I also never thought it should be bottled up. I remember writing these works in some of the most uncertain and hurtful times of my life. Through the years I have had very intense dreams. Ive had many as a young adult and have continued to grow more vivid through the years. Some of these dreams and states have felt like deep memories of things I have seen from other timelines. As I would write these thoughts and memories, it was like metaphorically dusting traumas from the shelves of life. Through the years, many have read these works and have shared that some of the stories and words have helped them with their challenges. So I set it as a goal to continue to write more until I reached the age of forty. At this time, I would publish it despite criticism or judgment. I hope that anyone who can take something positive from this collection can see that life is worth living. I also thank you for allowing this book to become a part of your thoughts.
