Whenever someone dies their souls leave their bodies and turn into spirits.
According to the rules, these spirits are supposed to wait for the Grim Reaper to come for them and take them to the great beyond as some people call it. But rules are meant to be broken, and there are those spirits who, for whatever reason – be it fear of the beyond or unfinished business or something else altogether – do not wish to pass over.
For these Ghosts who wish to avoid The Reaper there are small sanctuaries or ‘Cafes’ where the ghosts can stay without fear of The Reaper coming to get them.
Many different ghosts stay at these Cafes, young, old, middle aged, Hispanic, Caucasian, Asian, Indian, it doesn't matter. Each of these ghosts has their stories to tell, about their lives and their after lives. Here are some of those stories.
