What Does a Woman Want? explores the question that so completely stumped Freud. Perhaps he should have read Jane Austen for the answers.
In today’s world, Elizabeth Bennett tries to spice up her boring life, but after she’s busted out by her two young children during an awkward dinner, her life and her marriage are catapulted into dismay. Thus begins the downward spiral that her husband is all too happy to facilitate.

Though he himself has been cheating on Liz with the belief that his new girlfriend will make him wealthy, Paul Bennett assumes the moral high ground, divorces Liz, and attacks her fitness to care for the kids.

Unpredictable and wild times ensue as Paul’s new lover attempts to become the kids’ new “Mom.” As a furious mother that aims to regain control of her life, Liz cooks up a far-reaching plot that relies upon Christian Mall, a convict that only wants sex and a place to stay after his release from prison. Liz convinces him that he can have much more, including money, if he helps her get back at Paul.

As this Hitchcockian plot goes off the tracks, Liz’ graduate education in how to get around men is challenged far beyond anything she ever imagined.
