B.C. Ehirim was born and brought up in the Southeastern part of Nigeria in Igbo land. Growing up in poverty was a painful and challenging experience at the time, but it provided him with the undeniable experience of God’s sovereign hands of protection and provision of his family’s needs.
He migrated to Canada in 1975, and now holds a bachelor’s degree in Christian Education from Tyndale University College in Toronto (formerly known as Ontario Bible College and Seminary), a Masters in Theology from Wheaton College Graduate School, and a Certificate in Chaplaincy from Toronto School of Theology. He has served in many churches as a teaching pastor/elder and has worked in many para-church organizations in Toronto and the suburbs in the past twenty-five years. Benedict is married with three children and three grandchildren.
