This is the second book in the series A Dog Named Mutley, he continues to amuse and amaze everyone with his unusual antics. There are seven short stories in this book each one featuring Mutley and his mummy. In one story they go on holiday to visit mummy's cousin, they have to go by train and Mutley makes himself so comfortable even the ticket collector wont throw him off the seats. While on holiday Mutley saves his mummy from drowning when they get trapped on an island in the middle of a river, Mutley very quickly learned how to swim. Mutley has to go to the vet one day as he has a lump on one of his legs, the vet does an operation and when they tell mummy what they found she doesn't know whether to laugh or cry.
This book will have readers laughing just as much as the first book in the series, it is quite unbelievable that any normal dog did the things that Mutley did, but every story is based on an episode of his life, every day with Mutley was a different story. This book contains some very amusing pictures and real life photographs of Mutley taken by the author.
