The author's story of being inspired to take up running with the hopes of running a marathon when he was hopelessly out of shape and basically living a lifestyle that was going nowhere.

A love for running soon developed and in less than six months led to a marthon in under 3:30.

One day in 1982 when seeing the Ironman Triathlon on T.V. the author was drawn to the event and despite having to learn to swim from basically zero, finished the 1984 Ironman Triathlon in Kona, Hawaii.

Each success in life made all things seem possible and soon a website was created to help others reach their Triathlon goals and that website was followed by five books.

The author had to teach himself how to use a computer before he could entertain the idea of a website and wrote five books when even writing one seemed insurmountable at the time.

This is a book of motivation and inspiration and is about realizing the potential we all have within if only we believe in ourselves and give ourselves a chance.
