Minister Larry Dolf was phoning the people of his congregation and inviting them to the party at five o'clock the coming Saturday. I, Mike Blanch received the call and promised to come down Saturday afternoon. Only a short while later, the phone rang again. A whispering voice told me that a group of citizens was planning to kill the Minister. Being a good citizen I contacted my friend detective Al Laurence and told him about the whispering voice, and the threat against Minister Dolf. That means I have to be at his party on Saturday, said Al, are you coming? Yeah, I'll be there together with Ralf Scarpatti, my friend that lives right below myself.
When Saturday arrived, Ralf and I were there at the party together with quite a few other citizens. The food was great, and around eight o'clock when most people started to go home, Larry was still alive. I walked up to Al and said that Ralph and I are going home. Then we heard a scream from Minister Dolf, and he fell down onto the lawn. Al got hold of the bottle Larry Dolf had been drinking out of and kept it as evidence. When the ambulance arrived, Dolf was dead.
When after a week we got most of the news from the lab, all evidence pointed at Liz Dolf, the Ministers wife. Does that mean that you'll have to arrest her? I asked and he quietly answered with a nod. What happened in court surprised all of us, and even the newspaper the following day agreed.
