Healing: by Dr. Steve Bush
One use of the term faith healing is in reference to the belief of some Christians that God heals people through the power of the Holy Spirit, often involving the laying on of hands. It is also called supernatural healing, divine healing, and miracle healing, among other things. In the Old Testament, Jehovah-Rapha, translated "I am the Lord your Physician" or "I am the Lord who heals you", is one of the seven redemptive names for Jehovah God.[n 1] Healing in the Bible is often associated with the ministry of specific individuals including Elijah, Jesus and Paul.[1]
I believe in healing and have prayed for thousands of people over the past 40 plus years, Many are healed and some not. I often wonder why and what is the block. The following is my teaching from the word and my experience over the years.
