The BCs marked the beginning of the period when man began to domesticate less dangerous animals, and goats were the beasts that were first tamed by man. In this classic book, Why Animal Kingdom Divided, the author tells a tale of how all the animals on earth once lived a communal life before they were divided through a terrible crisis, and how they now live in different natural habitats till today.

The story depicts the general lifestyle of the animals in terms of mutual love, oneness, and fairness. They were all herbivores in those days. At a point in time, famine struck the earth, thereby leading to scarcity. This incident led the animals from one problem to the other, even as they sought for survival.

At the very verge of a possible breakthrough, they squandered the opportunity they had; and this led to the 'civil war' that broke the Animal Kingdom into pieces even till today. It also reveals the reason why some animals kill other animals for food. This book is a great plot for 3 - 10 year olds in families. It's entertaining, educative, and informative. It's a must read!
