This book firstly highlights the importance of the Grade 12 level. It shares the story about why the majority of Grade 12 learners at schools A and B in the rural area of the Oshikoto region of Namibia repeatedly failed to pass Grade 12 successfully, and could not secure admissions to institutions of higher learning in the country and abroad. A history of the Namibian education system is also presented in the first chapter.
The book outlines the factors which may contribute to the low achievement levels of learners in schools. It could help the ministry of education to make effective educational innovations to improve the performance levels of schools in the rural areas and beyond.
This book will be helpful to teachers, teacher educators, novice teachers, education planners, educational researchers, and parents, too. Students who are partaking in education courses will find the book very helpful for their studies. Most importantly, it outlines various crucial factors which influence teaching and learning processes in schools.
Read on and learn something scholarly!
