Earth, 2171 CE. Communications have been lost with a petroleum mining station just outside Jupiter, after the transport vessel, Wilkinson IV, misses its triennial oil shipment. A small rescue and repair unit is dispached to the station to assess its crew and restore communications. Only two members of the crew return, and the mission is presumed a failure. Silence follows.
Two years later, those survivors illegally leaked an account of their experiences, in order to bring the truth to the public. That account has since been revised, edited and annnotated. This is the story of the survivors.
