Being a single father was not a task to ever put behind as Mr. Walt Preston found himself in such a situation.
After the shocking death of his wife, he took it upon himself to bring up their lone son all alone. Mr. Walt was a good father as he took good care of his son, being a mother and father to him as well.
He never for once gave up anything in the place of his son on whom he depended solely and loved so much.
Albert Preston went to the best schools and lived a happy and fun filled life. Even if his father did not have enough assets to make sure that Albert had a nice time, he went through thick and thin just to see that Alert had everything that he could ever dream of.
Albert was just twenty-one years when Mr. Walt lost his parents. This left him with only Albert as a family as he hoped on having a bigger and better family through Albert.
But his dreams were from his precautions as he made sure that Albert schooled at the best missions schools where he could be well brought up and not be a failure as he saw in many families with just one child and who were usually spoiled.
Going to mission schools had groomed Albert to love the lives of missionaries and priest so much that he shied away from social activities just to live the life that he admired.
His absence from social activities made him to shine out brightly academically wise and this made his father so proud of him.
Albert grew up to be very conserved and shy. He always kept to himself and spoke just when it was necessary.
“He is just like his mother. She was heaven sent. She could not even kill and ant. Then I knew that my generation will live like angels, just the way my wife has always been. I am blessed man. Have you ever heard Albert singing? He sings like an angel as well. When I realized his passion n singing, I sent him summer music lesson and his Godmother is also a gospel music fan. At times, when I am worked up, I just call him to sing for me. Then he forms a pleasant song for me, praying and singing as well, so much that I only get up in the idle of the night and see him sleeping there right close to me. What more can I ask for, from a son. I don’t mind losing my family these days.” Mr. Walt often said proudly whenever he had a chance to talk about his son.
No matter what anyone had to say about Albert, his love and hopes for Albert was beyond expectation.
Being a handsome looking guy, there was more that he expected from Albert but he could not see. That was the only thing that he thought his son lacked, explaining why he did all that he could so that his son could be like every other guy of his age.
Mr. Walt could stop at nothing to make sure that his son repaid him with just what he wanted, and those were descendants.
