Xola Lola may look like she fits well into the landscape of her native Mexico, but here in Vermont, she stands out like a rose among thorns . . . at least to us!

With amber eyes that seem to draw a person in, it has been said, on more than one occasion, that she seems to be able to look right through a person or, as some have said, into their very soul! This is her story, from her native Mexico to her new home in Vermont, as told by her favorite little human, our four-year-old granddaughter, Anne Shirley.
