"You are not your own." These are the words of the apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 when he spoke to those who were being tempted by the immorality of the day.

In a time when the rights of the individual are often the centre of attention, we would do well to take a moment to evaluate our modern ideas in light of these words. Do we really have the right to do as we please? What does the Lordship of Christ mean for us and how we allow our lives to unfold?

This study takes the word of Paul in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 and compares them to the teaching of the rest of Scripture. Its purpose is to call us back to a Biblical perspective of our rights and privileges before the Lord God.
