When the zombie apocalypse started, Xander Barnes by hunkering down in a Costco with family and friends, fighting off both the living and the dead. Then they were evacuated to a nearby Army base and it looked like everything would be better. However, while personal safety increased, life got tougher with long hours of gruelling work, limited food, and spending his remaining time in a tent in a shantytown filled with desperate refugees who often had lost everything and sometimes, everyone they cared about. Before he knew it, his unit was cut off and surrounded by hundreds of zombies desperate to feast on him and his fellow troopers.
