Contemporary Russian orthodox icon painter Nicholai Greschny (1912-1985), well-known in Europe, and almost unknown in Russia, presents his original points of view on Orthodoxy and iconography. Interviews with the painter recorded by a catholic priest were published in 4 books in France. In the first one, "Trinity by Andrei Rublev," published in French in 1986, the painter introduces us to the mystery of the Holy Trinity by Andrei Rublev and offers an answer to the sacred question "who is who?" on the famous icon.
