奔豚气是患者自觉有一气，从少腹上冲于胸，或上冲于咽喉的一种症状。由于气冲如脉之奔突，故称为奔豚气。本病的发生，主要是由于惊恐损伤肝肾之气，或气郁逆而上冲，或气挟寒饮而上逆所致，故治疗本病当以调气降逆、养肝和营、温化水饮为主。
