With plenty already on her plate, landlady Cara did not think she should care about flings, involvements or relationships. Just her luck that her outrageous BFF found out she couldn't take her eyes off one of her tenants, the much younger, shy and quiet Aaron. Urged to seduce the young man, Cara recoiled at the mention of a 'self confidence' pill her best friend recommended. Things went awry when it was not Cara who took the pill...

Oh Lord. I surreptitiously watched him, looking for any signs of trouble but he looked pretty much the same he had always looked. Tall and a bit gangly with brown hair and dark eyes. I knew his hair could look light brown under a different light but as it was right now, it was very dark and made him looked a bit different.
Or were my eyes playing with me? I didn't know anymore.
"Miss Cara," he said, startling me. "Is there something wrong? You look... ah, weird."
I couldn't help snorting at that. "Thanks."
"Oh. I didn't mean..." he stopped, unsure of what to say. I watched, fascinated to see faint color rising up his cheeks. Christ, my hands were itching to touch him. What the hell, Cara.
"What did you mean?" I asked, pleased to see the color deepened.
"I didn't..." he paused for a while and I noticed it definitely did not seem similar to his previous pause. His eyes were unfocused and he seemed to sway a little bit even though he was sitting on the couch across from me.
"Aaron...?"
"Sorry. I suddenly felt a bit dizzy."
Uh oh. I was not sure what to do but I found myself moving to sit beside him, a bit surprised when he took my hand and pressed it to his face.
"I feel a bit warm, don't you think?"
His hand was big against mine and so warm and I almost couldn't hear what he was saying as my palm touched his still blushing cheek. "Sorry, what?"
"Do you think I feel a bit warm, Miss Cara?" he closed his eyes and leaned his face further into my hand and I bit my lip. Were his lashes always that long and thick?
