Jim Knowles was your everyday workaholic. He usually had his head buried in spreadsheet calculations, however, once about every two years he would take a break. He and three of his high school friends would get together on a skydiving spelunking trip into some unknown area just for adventure. This current trip was not unusual for their normal get together. Airplane over an island, skydive in, find a cave, do their thing for a week and then take the scheduled pickup boat ride back to civilization. Finding the small artifact deep in a cave was not part of the plan. Taking it through custom on the way back home was also unplanned.
