Afraha gets unexpected help from Baron Samedi the foreign artist whose millennium plea on behalf of Haiti's dead ghosts in Africa Hall Addis Ababa has been rejected by Africa's living. Nefarious Koroffi, the smartphone-wielding henchman of the foreign artist captures the hunt for Afraha and broadcasts it on all national radio and television channels, online and on all the social media platforms to the rage of the state and the Uhuru-Man who loses his head in a confrontation with Baron Samedi in Mombasa. Afraha journeys from Mombasa to Lake Victoria on her fateful last journey with the headless Uhuru-Man in hot pursuit but frustrated at every step by the dastardly foreigners' nefarious plots.
At the final dance of the gods at journey's end, Afraha's dance opens the gates of the lost beyond allowing Baron Samedi and his motley crew of foreign miscreants to flee the harsh sun of the living and thus return to Haiti of the dead. Honouring a father's dying wish, Afraha's bravery ends a perverted ancient rite.
