Enormous UFO seen by soldier during Algerian War
Legionnaire N.G., was on sentry duty at a Foreign Legion camp at Bouahmama during the Algerian War, when he saw an enormous, roundish object descending. It stopped when it was about 35-40 metres above the ground, and began to hover there, motionless and silent. He estimated it to be as much as 350 metres wide. The witness feels that something most unusual happened to him psychologically.

Scientists from Arizona State University are proposing that closely examining high resolution photographs of the moon, retrieved by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO), may reveal "incontrovertible signatures of non-human technology." They argue that such a project is worthwhile and could be accomplished with a small budget.

Live Science recently published an infographic showing the 10 states that have reported the most UFO sightings using data from the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) in Seattle. I updated my MUFON spreadsheets for a recent article in order to analyze a spike in UFO sighting reports from this past August received by the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). With the data already at my fingertips, I decided to also take a look at how MUFON's data stacked up to NUFORC's. I took it a step further to refine the data and deduce where the true hotspots can be found.

The skeletal sets were discovered by Renato Davila Riquelme, who works for the Privado Ritos Andinos museum in Cusco in south-eastern Peru. He said that that the eye cavities are far larger than normally seen in humans. There is a soft spot in the skull - called an open fontanelle - which is a characteristic of children in their first year of life, yet the skull also has two large molars, only found in much older humans.

Online volunteers could be set task of spotting alien technology, evidence of mining and rubbish heaps in moon images. Hundreds of thousands of pictures of the moon will be examined for telltale signs that aliens once visited our cosmic neighborhood if plans put forward by scientists go ahead.
