Kenyan farm girl Angelina Freyer and Canadian geology student David Clegg on a disastrous safari, are abandoned in the African bush for fourteen days and nights.
But they also have to spoon-feed eleven tourists, most of whom have never set foot in Africa before and don't know how to fend for themselves.
Angelina is a survivor and knows how to stay alive. She needs David's help and an ironic friendship develops between the two.
Then things go wrong. One of the tourists wanders into what appears to be an abandoned poachers' bush camp. He steals a pouch of uncut diamonds the poachers are smuggling from the Botswana diamond fields to Lusaka.
But the smugglers were out hunting for the pot, and when they return they not only want their diamonds back, they want retribution. They begin hunting the party of survivors.
Angelina has to draw on her mojo.
