Sir George Webbe Dasent (1817—1896) was a famous English translator of numerous folk tales, lots of literature works and mythological stories of different cultures. 
“Boots Who Ate a Match with the Troll” is a short story about a farmer and his three sons that needed to pay for their father's debts. All they could is to hew some wood in the forest. After the first son went to the wood he met a great sturdy Troll who assured to kill him if he continued to do that. No one of three brothers could solve this problem but only one brave brother Boot. But how could he defeat a huge Troll?
