Why did I write this e-book? I wanted to know the latest and the gratest ideas for my personal safety and my family’s well being. I’ve devided to senerios as I always do because life is a movie, it is all the decisions you make determines the outcome of the day, weeks, years and your entire life. We are merely actors in a movie and I for one, I would like to know what concerns me about my role in life.
We all know crime is increasing every year and coming closer to what once were considered safe communities. Crimes against property these days, on average, 20 times every minute According to the FBI; One out of six homes will be burglarized this year, with an average loss of $2,280 of property stolen in each case.
You have to make it difficult for thieves to enter your home. Single family homes are two times more likely to be burglarized than apartments. Hotels and motels account for less than 3% of all burglaries but we will talk about that scary senerio as well specially while on holiday that will be a concern. Items to be stolen in a burglary are cash, cameras, Laptop computers, Smart phones, jewelry, tools and hand guns. The two things any burglar fears the most are being seen, and having to take too much time to complete the crime. Most burglars will work no longer that 60 seconds to get into a home.
