A novel for parents, families and in particular 8-12 year old children. Based on Mind, Body and Spirit’s current global theme of re-inventing ones self, life and world. The influence of folklore from the East is also incorporated into the story about a ‘Shambhalla,’ or ‘New Eden’ utopian world and how it is being re-discovered as birthing in Scotland, the place where the ‘Aurora Borealis and north winds blow’ enchants the reader. The main characters are Eden and Ray Bliss, a brother and sister who take a magical exhilirating ride over the land with their cantankerous cat Shadow on a rainbow magic carpet. They experience exquisite heavenly colours imbued in the land and sky that impact them on many positive levels. They deal with fears they face and overcome with talking techniques they use given to them by Trinity their mother. The story culminates in meeting the Inner Earth Dwellers at the Cave of St Anthony on Arthur Seat in Edinburgh, Scotland. Fabulous and sometimes scary meetings occur with a Female Golden Goddess, Ravens, Pink Flamingos, a Green Genie, Dragons, and the Guardian of Shambhalla -St Anthony. Chapters drip with immence colour imagery that is both painted on the external landscape and also impact the internal bodies of the children and cat in a positive way as they gain wisdom and growth. It is about striving, overcoming and accepting their own potential.
