Jasom Kingston, declared owner of the Cornish Talisman (their new found starship), has appointed Arson Haldon as captain of his ship, and his daughter Arial as the pilot. He has tasked them, along with Jasom's parents, Harkinson and Valya, and the scientists Dr. LeOnard and Prof. Whinoni, to confront the Council on Evensett to seek recompense for the destruction of their ship, the King's Quest, by the lead Councilor GraMorn. To do this, they must first confront the council ruled by GraMorn's associates who have been secretly stealing Predecessor artifacts, and killing off anyone that stands in their way. Then there is the committee, a powerful and mysterious group within the organization called the Crystal Crowns.
Political intrigue and conflicts between the councilors lead to many twists and turns as we learn more about the capabilities of this ancient ship and the people who have come to call it home; and, what is the part that The Crystal Crowns plays in this game of planetary proportions?
Follow them as they must find their way through not only the intrigue between these political adversaries, but the many passages of the labyrinth within the council building itself; are they real or just an illusion?
