OPERA L'EKO is a short musical play that promotes theatre life and Nigerian musical artistes whose songs were an inspiration to the writer's early life and have now found their way to the lips of some of the characters in the play.

This play is aimed at celebrating the hustling Nigerian youth who might be seen as lazy to the short-sighted ones. It seeks to encourage us to be proud in our skins as Africans. We may be struggling with a lot as a nation, but we have managed to keep what matters most – Love – alive. And that's all that matters; so let's celebrate ourselves.
