“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes”. - Martin Proust

This book is a fresh look at our current child rearing. The viewpoint is through the eyes of a baby boomer child, parent and teacher of 16- to 18-year-old Behavioural Studies students over the last 30 years. Together the author and her students engage in discussion about the changes over time and tackle the issues students raised in class. As these future parents of our society undertake this journey, the anecdotal evidence woven throughout the book enables the reader to look candidly at how we have come to the present and how we need to support this next generation in their parenting role. The mistakes of the past can be rectified.
