Poetry Rules
By: Francis’s Father
Angel,
You are my favorite person in the world.
I’m only alive ‘cause we were destined to be together.
I look at every day differently now, just knowing that
you love me makes life okay.
I won’t imagine me with no you...we’re way too in
love for that, so that’s not my concern.
All I want is you FOREVER!
Love can affect us in many ways, both positive and negative, yet there’s always a “Chapter Two,” two sides to every story. Francis’s Father knows all too well about falling in love, and that was when poetry took his hand.
Readers will enjoy the poetic justice in this love/hate relationship, and in the learning to survive it.
About the Author
Francis’s Father is a licensed surveyor, land surveying mostly in the state of Alabama. However, some of his fondest memories are of the times and people he met throughout the southeast, surveying various waterways and rivers, contracted to the U.S. Corp of Engineers.
He proudly served in the U.S. Military for eight years, during the Reagan era.
