A young woman named Rachel, soaring in her late-twenties is going through a rough patch in her life. Everything that scares her in this lifetime, stops her in the moment to make her question everything that has happened in her life and where it’s leading up to. Between depression along with anxiety, her nightmares shows her a horrific hint of reality in what she’s going through, or what’s coming her way. Sadden by the break up with her longtime friend, and her baby sister who has moved onto another state to pursue bigger dreams.

She feels all alone and shuts everyone out that is around her, as she stays in a solitude with her own misery. She tortures herself in why things happened the way they did between her and her long-time friend, Jay. Why she couldn’t be bold and brave like her baby sister, instead of letting fear consume her whole life. One stormy night, she has a very bad dream of an intruder in her house, in which Rachel has dreamt before in the past. Usually, this happens when something bad is going to happen. As she shakes off the incident as “it’s only a dream”, she starts getting random texts from an unknown number. She reaches out to her childhood friend Jay to help her. Of course, no response from him.

First, it starts out as someone trying to scare her, then the texts come very clear that the person who is texting her is in the house. As Rachel gets more frightened by the intruder, the intruder hints to her that things aren’t what they always appear to be (in which she is in denial or don’t want to face the truth). As things start to get more scary and confusing for Rachel, the intruder keeps torturing and getting violent with her. Is the intruder trying to give her a message....or something more sinister.
