The Reading Guide takes us weekly through the Holy Bible scriptures in the Tanakh, which is the Torah, Prophets, and writings, and shows corresponding scripture in the New Testament.  Haggai 2:5-9 teaches about what we are seeing all over the world.  The Glory of this New House will be greater than the former, for in it Yahweh will give us Peace "Shalom."  We are that New House according to Hebrews 8:10.  The Gospel of the Kingdom is from Genesis to Revelation, and includes the Feast Days which should be kept forever according to scripture.  Using the weekly reading to go through the Bible and calendar helps us know the foundations and instructions for life.  We need them to show love for our neighbor, and to move away from tradition which has lead to a lack of compassion and love.  It was 150 years ago that the Thirteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution freed slaves in America.  All types of human bondage ended.  It was the seventh day of Hanukkah, December 18, 1865. We will again see the seventh day of Hanukkah on December 18, in 2017. The Civil War also ended in 1865.  Yahweh with his sovereign hand intended for America to be one Nation under God with liberty and justice for all.
