Importance of Right to information is growing day to day to bring the transparency in the administration and the governmental works. The Government of India has notified ‘The Right to Information Act, 2005', vide the Gazette of India; Extraordinary Part II-Section I, New Delhi, Tuesday, June 21, 2005. This is an Act to provide for setting out the practical regime of right to information for citizens to secure access to information under the control of public authorities, in order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority.
