Jack Rhodes had spent his career helping others plan their finances, so they could enjoy the good life... he'd had enough. He quit his job, packed his bags and headed for the Caribbean. A fresh start, a new direction for his life, and absolutely no idea of what he was going to do, when he got there... He bartered his way onto a luxury yacht going to the British Virgin Islands, by agreeing to take "official" photos of the yacht. He wasn't a professional photographer, but was able to pass himself off as one. Suzanne Snyder had been a dinner boat Captain in Chicago, handling a 50' vessel on Lake Michigan, while her patrons ate their gourmet meals, and looked at the skyline along Lake Shore Drive. She'd decided she wanted to get her own boat and charter couples around the islands of the BVI. Limited on funding, she accepted a job as a nanny for an affluent couple from Canada, in exchange for passage on a yacht leaving Tampa, Florida. Everything was fine for the first couple of days. Then something happened one night that could not be explained. Everyone on the yacht disappeared, except Jack. His search confirmed that all of the passengers and crew had disappeared, while he was asleep in his quarters. As he is searching the vessel, trying to understand what has happened, he receives a big surprise... then one adventure after another unfolds. Circumstances take Jack and the yacht to Barbados, the Grenedines, St. Vincent, Puerto Rico, Tortola, BVI, and along the way, there is action, adventure, romance, humor, suspense, military, terrorists, interrogation, crooked cops, bribes, and, well... you'll just have to read the book to see how it all ends up in a beach chair at the most famous bar in the Caribbean.
