A group of boys learn the Skeeter Hill Recreation Department plans to expand Junior League instead of Little League. Consequently the sandlot players realize they will not have an opportunity to play together on a team next season. Led by Willie Wince the boys embark on a journey inspired by their desire to play Little League baseball together. The boys hatch a plan to fight City Hall and change their minds.
