Speak Up and Lie
The book was written with the true emotion that can only be expressed from the point of view of a victim. It is a raw account of events that attests to the great cost sexual abuse has on a person who has lived through the experience as a child; in addition the book reveals the resulting effects that linger throughout adulthood. It is a must read not only for the victims of child abuse, but also as an aid to informing others to what extent abusers and the people who aide them go to cover up their continuous abusive acts on victims. I have connected the dots and have also told one true lie in this book that at the time of writing it, I felt justified in doing so, I was wrong.
The book was written to show the psychological state a person can come to when they do not get help to deal with the problems that arise from the affects of child abuse and then the problems attached to them as they become adults
It was not intended to be written by a scholar; it is written in the voice of the author and is meant to show the psychological state of the author at the exact time he was faced with the accumulating opinions on abuse victims in the environment around him. The letter was a catalyst for the book. It was a breaking point that forced the author to write his thoughts down, the book is the result of the author's attempts to deal with his psychological state, and it has proven to be the beginning of his journey for peace and understanding. All along he thought the book was the end of his journey, when in fact it was the beginning, of the end or not? Time will tell.
At least this self destructive behaviour will expose it and me. If I am to indulge in narcissistic behaviour, let's do it to expose it and recognize the problem. I am now very terrified and need to reassure myself that this is the right thing to do. I have caused enough problems for myself and everyone around me with this f'in book. This will not be easy but is one hundred percent necessary
Once a person with mental health issues reacts to the stress in their environment the other people around sense his undoing, naturally, at that uncontrolled turning point the person with the mental health problem is forced into a defensive mode. The human, survival of the fittest frenzy, is in effect, the mental health issue is placed on the back burner and the bombardment of ridicule, opinions, and the needs of self serving groups will weigh heavy on the person experiencing the psychological breakdown.
Although the actions of the person suffering from mental health issues must be dealt with because the safety of the public must be first if he becomes aggressive, the public also has the responsibility to recognize that the person needs help. Enter compassion and understanding, this is hard to find these days. Stop acting like a pack of wolves and start acting like compassionate human beings, which is what differentiates us from the wolves. The wolves will act in a pack, it's there nature the person with the mental health issues will be destroyed, they, the people around him will act like wolves not humans they will intentionally try to provoke the person in distress and into acting irrationally.
