Peter Pratt is a normal lad. He has no direction in life, is a mediocre achiever and has no real plan as to the way forward. He is in his late teens and, on a whim, visits a Royal Air Force recruitment office in Leeds, England looking for a cash handout to supplement his upcoming college course. This sets off a chain reaction that affects the rest of his life. I know all of this because I am Peter Pratt. This is not a story of my personal 'journey', nor of any spiritual enlightenment. It is more a collection of ridiculous stories that have either afflicted myself or those around me. I have very loosely and liberally based the characters on those who have crossed the pathways of my life as I stumble through its maze. As it says on the tin: this is a sort of autobiography.
