The Body of the Plane, a journey through turbulent airspace, is an elegiac of poem telling the incredible flight of the poet to visit his Muse and soulmate, who had fallen seriously ill. The passenger’s faces turn into ghosts of his past and tear on the tentacles of his soul, pulling him away to great temples of art with embedded sacred geometry with the face of his Muse. He senses that she is in grave danger. His mind recalls the story of meeting her for the first time and sharing their love for the arts and the written word. With pain in his heart, he cannot rest, but writes into his journal about their happier times, recalling their games of comparison to characters of mythological beings, discussing the purpose of life and their gift of sharing perfect days in love in midst a balanced environment. He recalls their creation of a cloud that served as their domain for leaving behind the hackneyed life of everyday’s chores and how well he felt in her company and her beautiful mind that centred about poetry. But have they not consumed their given time with too much haste and greed in merging and dying every time a little? But how come her time is up now, will that mean his time’s up too? Well, he might still have a chance of healing her and he will try his utmost. Scanning the plane, his fellow passengers asleep, he wonders if his discomfort in these tight and hard seats has also a bearing on his pain inside. On a positive note of the early morning’s wake, the passengers are preparing for breakfast and soon the plane will land in Athens. He is pleased that his ghosts of the night have become friendly people welcoming him across historic times.
The Prince of the Clouds, master of the Seven Isles. Which rose from the deep blue ocean, through fire and ice, in tropical splendour, the competitive Gods had created an archipelago of untold natural beauty endowed with great riches. The twin peak mountain Goddess opens up her beauty and nourishes her Seven Island’s children. Yet with the good seeds came the bad, as Gods have also stubborn fights of competition and Giants growing from dragon’s teeth battled for dominance. For millions of years a hostile environment changed the face of the isles. When man evolved by magic rays, a full shining silver moon and night shadow plants grew warrior dragons for the mountain God. The battle for paradise had begun when the moon became the protective shield for the Silver Goddess, the partner to intervene, but challenged by the red-faced mountain God in flash-fire unison, caused a great eruption of the fiery mountain, which ceased all dragons and living creatures that populated the Seven Isles.
Man and woman stepped as first couple onto paradise, humans multiplied and the islands became known as Pearl of the Ocean. The king of Atlantis, endowed with riches beyond anything, shared his joy when his first son was born. He called him Prince of the Clouds, statuesque and regal, with golden hair to his shoulders; even the Gods became jealous of him. The Prince grew up with his white winged horse - a present from the Gods - he rode daily to his domain to a cloud above the two peaked mountain, where he observed his beloved, Princess of the Island Six. The King of Six, a rival of the King of First, entangled in an ongoing feud with him for the top position, neither the Prince of the Clouds, nor the Princess of Isle Six gave a hoot about. A strange sea monster had befallen the archipelago and created havoc and the rival kings were at war. The Price had to leave his domain and love and felt responsible to save his islands and his people, after his father the King of First had been killed by the monster. But before his wish could be fulfilled he has to perform a personal sacrifice. The mighty Sea God is not satisfied with the outcome and he causes the mighty mountains to erupt in a grand explosion. Will this mean the end of the archipelago?
