Inspired by NASA’s publication of data from the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP); revealing unexpected amounts of dark energy and dark mass in the universe. The Bright Universe paints a picture of the universe built from dark matter and dark energy it describes the expanding parts of the universe that we can see and measure.

The Bright Universe predicts the implication of dark energy on unseen, unmeasured parts of the universe. A most profound prediction is these parts of the universe are contracting, an unexpected feature of the universe for which there is little support and no consensus.

Predicting the contraction in unseen parts of the universe; is documented in my previous publications Fractal Physics published in 2014, and Dark Energy Physics published in 2017. New telescopes on the earth and in space using new technology will provide the data, required to prove the theory of contraction, was documented on the back page of Fractal Physics.

The Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO) funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation and operated by California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) are collaborating with 18,000 organizations around the world, making LIGO detectors are available for use by members of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration (LSC). Between September 2015 and September 2017 twenty-five solar masses have been recorded, as lost by the collision of black holes.

Building elemental particles from fractals of tori offers an alternative structure for the creation of quantum gravity. The experimental data required to confirm or refute the expansion and contraction of a cyclic universe will be recorded by LIGO and the LSC over the next 12 Months.
