About the Author

Adriana Moreira was born in Minas Gerais, Brazil, and lived most of her life in Rio de Janeiro, also known as “Wonderful” city. There, she received her bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT), followed by a Post-Graduate degree in Financial Administration and an Executive MBA.

Since graduation, she has been working for large corporations as a senior IT professional. Her career has allowed her to live in different cities and countries, which has helped her overcome biases and learn much through exposure to different cultures and diverse ways of thinking and being.

Currently, Adriana lives in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is happily married and has two wonderful daughters, who she considers her greatest blessings. Adriana enjoys reading, dancing, and being with family and friends. Though she has a tendency toward introversion, she is recognized for being persistent, resilient, and driven by objectives. She considers the faith she learned from her parents and grandparents to be her most remarkable attribute.
