'The Cross on the Hill' tells the story of the young man Arch who one early morning decides to venture to a neighboring hillside where the local farmer has planted a white wooden cross. Arch begins to sense that the famer is hiding something sinister beneath the white cross and hatches a plan to find out what. Before he able to discover the truth a menacing and ugly man, Hezekiah Spindle, appears at the farm and the two men begin excavating the hill. Arch looks on and before he knows it he is neck high in all kinds of sticky and unpleasant trouble.
A dark gothic story set mid-summer in the tranquil English countryside with a light hearted hero who jumps from one catastrophe to another but always with an escape route and a friendly smile but how long can his luck last?
